Hello all! Doesanyone have a pattern for knitting socks or mittens?
I am now pretty good at knitting scarfs and hats, but eventually it would be cool to knit somthing else too.. :) and socks are often apreciated by people,at least here in the cool country of Norway.

Do you have ravelry or knitting paradise? I find ravelry really clunky for listing
patterns for sale and setting up my store, or sometimes even for adding current
projects in general. I do like being able to buy and download patterns though
and I find knitting paradise useful for asking about patterns or just random stuff
since the forums/groups don't seem quit so strict. The pattern I'm using to
make socks at the minute is "Hermione's Everyday Socks" which is a free
pattern on ravelry that just about everyone and their family and their pets have
made so it seems. That pattern is written for a finger weight/4 ply yarn, so I
should imagive that would be rather cold up there in Norway at this time of year
or ever in November and December actually.
Having said that though I did buy some really nice socks made from alpaka
hair/wool or whatever they have when I was in Finland last year and those are
nice and warm. Just wish they were a bit longer, so got some worsted weight
yarn which is alpaka when I got back to the UK, although I have yet to jnit with
the yarn since I'm too busy playing with it and making a zillion and one other
things all at the same time. :)
I'm not very often on this site these days if ever, but you can add me to skype if
you like at harmonyln7 or e-mail me at harmonyln7@gmail.com
